Luke Versace, running off 10 metres, clocked the fastest time of 12.28 seconds in semi-final three, closely followed by Chris Innes-Wong, 12.29, and Sam Jamieson, 12.31.
The fastest heat qualifier, Isaac Dunmall, ran in 12.36 seconds.
A protest from John Adams will see both him and Ryan Camille, 12.37 seconds, through to the final after a photo finish in semi-final four.
Adams originally recorded a time of 12.38 seconds.
Gus Carty-Cowling was the sixth fastest qualifier, recording a time of 12.38.
The six finalists will run at 2.45pm for the $40,000 first prize.

Women's Gift
ARARAT runner Sarah Blizzard has qualified for the Strickland Family Women’s Gift final after blitzing her semi-final.
Blizzard clocked a time of 13.70 seconds, the fifth fastest qualifying time.
She will be joined in the eight-athlete field by: Kimberley Geelan, Lilly Castle, Holly Dobbyn, Amie Mittiga, Katie Moore, Kendra Hubbard and Kate Jones.
The Strickland Family Women’s Gift final will run at 2.25pm.
