The Rebels will be chasing their first win of the season when the sides meet at Highgate Recreational Reserve at 1pm.
Eight Wimmera players will represent the under-18 side, however Ararat’s Xavier Vearing, shoulder, and Horsham’s Ryan Kemp will be among five changes.
Rebels talent manager Phil Partington said it was a big occasion and test against the third-placed Cannons.
“We spoke about it a bit on Tuesday night at training – what people sacrificed for what we’ve got today in Australia,” he said.
“We’ve got a few players back this week and we just need the boys to put in a consistent four-quarter performance.”
Nine players will return to the Rebels side after representing Vic Country in an under-18 trial game against Northern Territory on Friday last week, including co-captains Keegan Mason and Josh Webster.
Mr Partington said full-back and Horsham Saints product James Richards was among the Rebels’ best performers in the 95-point win.
