Ground: Apsley Recreation Reserve, Saturday, 2.20pm.
Umpires: L. Campbell, B. Campbell and G. Schutz.
Last time they met: Round 14, 2013. Edenhope-Apsley 11.12 (78) d Rupanyup 3.6 (24).
EDENHOPE-APSLEY will look to regain momentum when it hosts Rupanyup at Apsley on Saturday.
The Saints started their season with encouraging wins against Noradjuha-Quantong and Natimuk United before losing to Swifts by three goals in the match before the Easter break.
Coach Grant Coxon said he had been focused on getting back to the winners list.
“Without having a game at the weekend, the more I think about it, the more I think we probably should have beaten Swifts,” he said.
“It’s a good team but I think we had opportunities to take that game from them.
“But we can’t think about that too much – we’ve just got to get going in the right direction again on Saturday.”
Saint Bart Nolan will return after missing round three with a concussion.
SANFL player Tim McIntyre is also on loan from Glenelg for another week after playing against the Baggies.
Glenelg has a bye at the weekend, which will allow him to play for the Saints.
Rupanyup will enter the match undermanned, but might regain two senior players.
Scott Nicholson is a chance to play his first match of the season and brothers Brett and Scott Niewand could be selected.
Panthers coach Mick Finnigan said the scoreboard was not the only match indicator for his team.
“We’re still undermanned, so it’s an opportunity for people to step up,” he said.
“It’s a week-to-week thing for us and we’re working on building consistency and accountability as much as trying to win games.”
