The two-day, 100-kilometre walk saw more than 30 women trek from an Anzac Day dawn service at Lake Lonsdale on Friday to Horsham Showground on Saturday evening.
Project manager Andrea Cross said months of planning had gone into the event.
“Walking in on the track on the showground, it was truly overwhelming to realise what we’d actually achieved over the two days,” she said.
“There were some emotional women.”
The money will be distributed between the Women’s Cancer Foundation, a proposed ambulance transfer station at Horsham Aerodrome and a Horsham Showground upgrade.
Mrs Cross said the money would be officially handed over at a gala dinner later in the year.
She said a book of stories from the women involved in the walk would be launched at the dinner.
“I know some of the chicks were out walking on Sunday morning and others are resting quietly and stretching at home,” she said.
Mrs Cross said two entries for next year’s event signalled the fundraiser would continue in the future.
