The club will celebrate eight premierships – senior football flags in 1974 and 2004, reserves football successes in 1984 and 2004, A Grade netball triumphs in 1974 and 1984 and B Grade netball victories in 1994 and 2004.
The Demons, who will host Dimboola in round four of the Wimmera Football League, will have a function from 5pm at its city oval clubrooms.
Club vice-chairman Rodney Dumesny said dual North Melbourne premiership player Craig Sholl – who played in the club’s 1984 reserves premiership – could be among the past players returning for the function.
Current players will don a commemorative guernsey baring the names of the club’s 1974 and 2004 premiership players on the front.
Coach Jordyn Burke will be one of a number of players switching numbers – swapping his 17 for the 11 worn by his father Brian in the club’s 1974 premiership win.
The guernseys will be auctioned off post-match.
Mr Dumesny said people could call him on 0419 259 112 for more information.
