Mallee Football League announces interleague squad

MALLEE Football League has named a 44-player squad ahead of its senior interleague clash with Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League at Woori Yallock on May 24.

The 12th-ranked Mallee league has won its past three interleague matches, and another win this year would see it push inside the top 10.

Beulah and Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers are the two most represented clubs, with 10 players each, while Jeparit-Rainbow is the least represented club with three players included.

Former AFL-listed talls Laurence Angwin, Carlton and Adelaide, and Lucas Cook, Melbourne, have been named.

The squad will train at Sea Lake on Sunday morning at 11am and at Hopetoun on Wednesday at 6pm.

Hopetoun's Coleman Schache has made the 44-player squad.
