The alcohol and drug-free youth party will be lit up by fluorescent lights.
Organising committee member Karen Spriggs, 13, encouraged people aged 12 to 17 to dress in their brightest outfits.
A catwalk has been set up inside the Nexus premises at 14 Pynsent Street for a best-dressed contest.
Karen said contestants would be judged based on the originality, creativity and fluorescence of their outfit.
Other criteria included effort, crowd reaction, ‘the walk’ and ‘the pose’.
The contest winner will be awarded an iPad Mini.
“People can dress up really cool,” she said.
“Everyone will glow.”
Horsham Nexus hosted a similar event last year, attended by more than 100 Wimmera youth.
This year, Melbourne DJ Mz Rizk and Wimmera DJ Cardiac Chaos will supply the beats.
The disco runs from 7pm until 10pm.
A $5 entry fee applies.
Horsham Nexus co-ordinator Alois Kniebeiss said people could also sign up for a free, one-hour DJ master class with Mz Rizk at Horsham Nexus from 5pm until 6pm on Friday.
He said spaces were limited and people would need to call 5362 1500 to register.
