Five of the competition’s eight clubs have been represented in the team, with only Horsham, three players, and Horsham Saints, two players, having multiple inclusions.
Dimboola, Warrack Eagles and Ararat all have one representative each.
Coach Gayle Leith said her players had the ability to play in a number of positions and would be ready for the North Central challenge.
“We’ve got a lot of flexibility in the team – they all can play two or three positions and that’s what we sort of aim for at squad level,” she said.
“We’ve got Georgia Duncan, Tiffany Boatman and Jedda Heard, who have stepped up from the 17 and under team last year and are playing seniors consistently this year.
“North Central is always a good team, so I’m sure it will have a bit of youth and experience as well.”
The side also boasts large amounts of experience in players such as Demons coach Zoe Heard, Saints captain Courtney Clough and experienced duo Sharon Fedke and Antoinette Toet. Shooters Fedke and Duncan – two of the league’s leading scorers this season – will provide potency around the ring, with support likely to come from Toet and Warrack Eagles youngster Briodi McKenzie.
Zoe Heard will marshall a defence including Boatman and Jedda Heard, with Clough to control the centre.
