Teacher and year six to seven transition co-ordinator Heather Deayton said the annual year seven showcase invited parents to come and view students’ work.
“We had some fabulous stuff on display that the students have completed so far this year in each of their subject areas,” she said.
“We were very appreciative of the parents who came.”
Music students also performed at the showcase.
“We had a variety of instruments and there was quite a crowd watching them at one point,” Ms Deayton said.
She said the night was a great way to celebrate what the students could achieve.
“It is good to be able to show off their work to the community,” she said.
“It is also a good night for future year seven parents and students to come and have a look at the college.”
