Horsham College has installed a series of signs outlining its history in the lead up to college centenary celebrations from October 11 to 14.
Principal Frank Spiel said the signs detailed past and present house names and associated colours and gave a short history of the people each house was named after.
Mr Spiel said buildings like the Claude Brand Library now featured a photo and a short history about Claude Brand and other significant community members, including students who fought in the First World War.
"Both the middle and senior school sites now have all their buildings named," Mr Spiel said.
"Buildings on the former Horsham High School site are named after the former Horsham High School house groups, while buildings on the former Horsham Technical School site are named after the tech school's house groups.
"These buildings had names, but none of the students and many of the staff were unaware of who the buildings were named for.
"During our centenary celebrations, we are going to have people visit the school who have very strong ties to these buildings and their school house groups.
"Placing new signs across the school campus gives us an opportunity to make connections with our school's history and link back to our traditions."
