LADDER-LEADER Beulah hosts Walpeup-Underbool as the Mallee Football League enters the second half of the season on Saturday.

The Blues have barely put a foot wrong in the first half of the season and, after dropping out of the finals early last year, will be keen for a top-two finish.

Shaun Monohan has been in a league of his own and has been well supported by a myriad of young Beulah runners including Callum Buchanan, Brock Orval and Tyler Lehmann.

The Roos have had a difficult start to the season, but the past few rounds have seen them put in some good performances.

Last time these sides met the Demons got an early jump on the Lakers to run out 41-point victors.

The Demons have had plenty of contributors across the ground this season.

There have been plenty of Lakers playing their hearts out each week, but they are yet to record a win for the season.

Hopetoun will host Woomelang-Lascelles and will look to claim a big scalp to help secure a spot in the finals.

Despite some big losses, it has managed to stay in touch with the top four.
