HORSHAM West Primary School grade three and four students experienced a whopper workout at Horsham Aquatic Centre as part of their studies on the human body.

Grade four teacher Lauren Andrew said students investigated the human body and maximising health during term two.
She said Building Beaut Bodies focused on how the body functioned and how different systems operated in humans.
"As part of the theme, the students were involved in a Building Beaut Bodies Bonanza, in which a number of health professionals from our community spoke to the children about their field of health and how children could maximise their own wellbeing,'' she said.
The students headed to Horsham Aquatic Centre on Tuesday as part of a Whopper Workout component.
Miss Andrew said they tried the RPM bikes, aerobics, body balance and TRX suspension training.
"They loved it,'' she said. "They thought they were so special that they got to use the treadmills.''
Miss Andrew said some of the children were surprised adults would pay to use a gym because it was hard work.
But she said they loved their experience.
"They liked the treadmill and rower because they could race,'' she said.
"They really liked the boxing, except their hands got a bit stinky.''
Miss Andrew thanked Wimmera Health Care Group, an Open Doors program and Wimmera Uniting Care, which heavily subsidised the program and encouraged participation.
She also thanked the YMCA staff for its support.
