More than 150 children and their parents dressed in their footy gear for the themed event.
The party was a project of the Horsham YMCA community advisory group.
Group chairman Mark Radford said the party included an inflatable tumbling zorb ball.
There was also a giant inflatable dragon and an obstacle course.
Mr Radford said Sunday’s event also included a range of new activities such as ball games and a bombing competition.
“It was good fun,’’ he said.
“Even though it was cold outside, it was lovely inside.’’
Wimmera businesses supported the event, providing food, drinks and a barbecue.
Mr Radford said YMCA staff volunteered their time to the event.
“We had some extra volunteers for the first time,’’ he said.
The party cost $5 and raised about $800 for the Open Doors Foundation.
Mr Radford said the money would help Wimmera children receive swimming lessons.
He said the community advisory group hosted three pool parties every year – an Australia Day event, the winter one and a party when the outdoor pool opened in November.
“Every one we do is slightly better,’’ he said.
Mr Radford thanked the volunteers and businesses, along with the Wimmera Mail-Times and other media organisations for their support.
