WARRACKNABEAL basketballer Chloe Bibby has continued to impress for Australia at the International Basketball Association Under-17 World Championships for Women.
Bibby and the Sapphires claimed a 64-42 victory over Mexico on Tuesday night.
Bibby had six rebounds in 19 minutes on the court.
She helped the Sapphires to a 58-51 win against the Slovak Republic one Sunday night, with four points and three rebounds in 22 minutes of court time off the bench.
Australia trailed by one point at three-quarter-time but stormed home to win by seven.
It was the team’s second win in as many days at the championships, and Bibby’s second game in national colours.
Bibby scored six points as the Sapphires triumphed over Japan in their opening Group C match.
The Wimmera teenager also collected five rebounds.
Scores were locked at 10-all at the first change before Australia opened up a 27-19 lead at half-time.
Bibby’s side maintained the same advantage at the final change and ran out 54-46 winners.
