Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative has organised a series of events.
At 11.30am Monday there will be a welcome to country ceremony at Dudley Cornell Park in Horsham.
After the ceremony there will be a mobile zoo for children and families at the park.
Tuesday is elders' day with women travelling to Daylesford for a day of pampering and men going fishing and bushwalking through historic places in the region.
Also on Tuesday, Horsham Centre Cinemas will host a children's movie day.
On Thursday, Wimmera Uniting Care Best Start Awards will go to children in the Best Start program at Horsham Library's temporary home in Horsham Gateway Centre.
After the awards, there will be story-telling and a screening of the film Lost in the Bush.
On Friday Nexus in Horsham will host workshops on song writing and cyber bullying before a disco kicks off at 3pm.
All Nexus activities are for children between the ages of 10 and 18.
On Saturday night there will be a cabaret evening for indigenous people in the Dimboola Memorial Secondary College Hall.
Goolum Goolum board member Kiewa Lovett said the week was a chance to celebrate indigenous culture.
"NAIDOC Week is a celebration for the community to embrace and share our culture and to raise awareness within the broader community," she said.
In Northern Grampians Shire, there will be flag-raising ceremonies at Stawell and Halls Gap this morning.
Both flag-raising events will be followed by a free morning tea.
There will be a free film night at the Stawell Health and Community Centre on Friday from 6.30pm.
Two indigenous films, Mabo and Croker Island Exodus, will be shown and supper will be provided.
Indigenous art displays will run from today through to Friday at 108 Main Street, Stawell, and in the Stawell Health and Community Centre, as well as in St Arnaud Library.
The displays will showcase artworks created by primary school students who entered a NAIDOC Week colouring-in competition.
Hindmarsh Shire Council is supporting colouring-in, short story and essay competitions in the shire's schools.
A spokeswoman for Horsham Rural City Council said the council had no plans for NAIDOC Week.
NAIDOC Week started on Sunday and continues until July 13.
