President John Brondsema said families were making the most of the play equipment, particularly during the school holidays.
“The whole family comes in and has lunch,” he said.
“Mum and dad have something to eat and the kids go out and play and have a bowl of chips.”
He said the RSL bought the jumping castle about four months ago.
It has been a drawcard for families on Wednesday nights, which are the RSL’s children’s nights.
The jumping castle is also available at lunchtimes each weekday during the school holidays.
“After the school holidays it will be available as per request by parents,” Mr Brondsema said.
The jumping castle is near the RSL’s play centre.
Mr Brondsema said it was important for children to be involved in the RSL.
“It is the school children and younger children who, ultimately, will carry the RSL forward,” he said.
