Today comes with a frost warning from the Bureau of Meteorology. Frost with temperatures down to -2 degrees were forecast for this morning in parts of the Wimmera and Mallee. Top temperature should be about 11.

FIVE YEARS AGO

Wimmera footballer Ben Devlin suffered horrific burns in a freak backyard accident in Horsham. Mr Devlin, 23, and his housemate and Horsham United team-mate Nigel Sibson were enjoying their regular Sunday ritual of listening to football commentator Rex Hunt in the backyard by a fire barrel when the accident happened. Mr Sibson said his mate was re-igniting the fire with petrol.
