The ninth-placed Eagles have found it tough going against sides above them on the ladder, but will fancy their chances against the 10th-placed Saints.
Eagles coach Mark Good said he was preparing for a competitive match.
“It should be a good game, I don’t think it will blow out either way,” he said.
“We’re looking forward to coming up against another club that’s in the same position as we are.”
Good said his side was confident it could finish the season off strongly.
The Eagles will play Kingston twice, Kybybolite, Naracoorte and Penola.
Good said 16-year-old Lachie Craig would make his senior debut, however Elijah Ware would miss.
Kaniva-Leeor United will set its sights on a ninth consecutive victory against Bordertown at Kaniva.
Cougars coach Neil Reeve said another win would put his side in an ideal position heading into finals.
“If we win we pretty much consolidate a top-three spot and Keith, Mundulla and Bordertown can play for fourth, fifth and sixth,” he said.
Reeve said Matt Skrypek, concussion, and Leigh Ryan, hamstring, were likely to overcome injuries, while Josh Jarred and Chris Larocca could be promoted.
Lachlan Seed and Damien Hawker will miss with work commitments.
Reeve, also under an injury cloud, said he would put his best foot forward to face the Roosters.
In other matches, Mundulla will face Naracoorte, ladder leader Padthaway will host reigning premier Penola, while Kybybolite will visit Lucindale and chase its second win for the season.
