TWO Wimmera athletes will compete for gold again when the Glasgow Commonwealth Games kicks off on Thursday.

They will look to add to their gold medal tallies while in Scotland throughout the next week.

The games start with the opening ceremony at 5am Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Niblett, who won team sprint gold at the previous games, will be the first to compete.
