TWO Wimmera athletes will compete for gold again when the Glasgow Commonwealth Games kicks off on Thursday.

Cyclist Jason Niblett and shooter Alethea Sedgman both won gold at the Delhi Commonwealth Games in 2010.
They will look to add to their gold medal tallies while in Scotland throughout the next week.
The games start with the opening ceremony at 5am Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Niblett, who won team sprint gold at the previous games, will be the first to compete.
The former Horsham resident will pilot seven-time Paralympian Kieran Modra in two tandem para-cycling events the one-kilometre time trial and 200-metre sprint.
This year's games are the first to feature para-cycling events.
The men's one-kilometre time trial B2 tandem will start at 1.11am on Saturday.
The men's sprint B2 tandem qualifying races will begin at 8.24pm on Saturday, with the semi-finals to follow at 8.55pm and the finals at 1.09am on Sunday.
The duo won silver in both races at the 2014 UCE Para-Cycling World Championships earlier this year.
Both events will be at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
Sedgman will compete in the women's 50-metre rifle three position shoot.
The Natimuk shooter, who competed in the 2012 London Olympics, will be look to defend the gold medal she won in the event in 2010.
Qualifying for the 50-metre rifle three position shoot is scheduled to start at 9.15pm on Tuesday, with the final to follow at 2.15am on Wednesday.
The event will be at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre in Carnoustie, which is almost two hours outside of Glasgow.
