FIVE YEARS AGO

Member for Mallee John Forrest has taken the battle for Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline funding to the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Mr Forrest asked Mr Rudd in May whether the government was aware of a 2007 election commitment to provide $124 million to finish the pipeline project.

Natimuk kindergarten children will venture into the wild next year as part of a new program offered by the Horsham and District Kindergarten Association.

Kaniva Playgroup will raise money for a new playground with its annual Christmas in July market on Sunday.
