The gallery was transformed into a life drawing studio, where people had been able to view works in progress.
On Friday, it will return to being a gallery when the work of Angela Walker, Toni Stockwell, Glen Critchley, Ashley Armfield, Valerie Augustin, Bogna Collins, Jeanette Hardman, Tiiu Reissar and Rosie Wallace will be exhibited.
Horsham Regional Art Gallery director Adam Harding said experienced artists Anthony Pelchen and Frank Tagliabue led the life drawing sessions.
He said for many of the other artists who participated, the experience was about returning to life drawing.
“For some of them they’re coming back to life drawing and re-entering that practice,” Mr Harding said.
“Everyone has been having fun and when I was there two Sundays ago it was really exciting to share the work with people.”
Mr Harding said it was a fantastic opportunity to give the public an insight into artists’ practice.
“I think they’re being really brave,” he said.
“Life drawing is something you do for your practice, your skill and to keep your eye in.
“They’re willing to share that process with the wider community and give that opportunity to see what they do.
“We are getting to look at the process behind making an artwork.”
Horsham Regional Art Gallery’s life drawing exhibition will open at 6pm at the Goat Gallery, 87a Main Road, Natimuk.
The gallery will also be open on Saturday and Sunday between 1pm and 4pm.
