In recognition of the event, all senior matches in the Wimmera Football League and Horsham District Football Netball League will use white footballs.
Footballers will wear white arm bands and netballers will tiew white ribbons in their hair.
White Ribbon committee chairman Justin Amor said it was important to raise the issue at sporting clubs.
"Hopefully people will pick up on the visual aspect of the day and it will get them to start talking, questioning and hopefully working out where they lie on the issue," he said.
"Ask people if they've witnessed family violence and what they'd feel like if it was their daughter, wife, partner or girlfriend."
Western Vic Football general manager Stephen McQueen said the White Ribbon round had grown since last year.
"The whole league will embrace it in the Wimmera League, and this is the first year the Horsham District Football Netball League has come on board to support this worthy cause in all senior games," he said.
Horsham District Football Netball League chairman Graeme King said the league wanted to raise awareness about the damaging effects of family violence.
"Football is a masculine environment - we want the guys to be aware that no one condones violence against women," he said.
"It's about using community sport as a vehicle to get the message across about no violence against women."
The feature game of the round will be at Central Park in Stawell when the home team takes on Horsham Saints.
The two sides contested a game to trial the concept last year.
Mr Amor said all club presidents would be provided with an information package about family violence.
