Reigning club champion Kye Chapple and number one female player Launa Schilling will be among players looking to find touch after a winter hiatus.
Other big names returning include club president Kevin McDonald and stalwart Jackie Adlington.
Club spokesman Tony Nield said the club was keen to attract more players for its biggest competition, which runs every Thursday night from September 4 to November 20, followed by finals.
"We know there are a few players returning for the spring but we'd like to see a lot more after our numbers dropped to a record low in the last competition," he said.
"We play in teams so you get free coaching and plenty of team support and it doesn't matter what your ability is, there will be a spot for you."
Entries close today for the spring competition to allow time for new player grading.
Nield said people could call him on 0439 823 544 for entry forms or more information.
