HORSHAM Motorcycle Club dominated MX Western Region Series round five action at Dooen on Sunday.

Ararat Motorcycle Club was originally scheduled to host the round but it was transferred to the Horsham club's venue because of track works.

Horsham members Lachie Davis, Aaron Watts and Aaron Walker took full advantage.

Horsham Motorcycle Club president Kenny Watts said Davis won the A Grade lites and open sections, Watts enjoyed success in the B Grade open division and Walker triumphed in the C Grade open section.

Mr Watts said it was a successful day for the club.

"We had a lot of success with our local riders," he said.

"We had a lot of riders all over the place put in great efforts."

Mr Watts said the sixth and final round of the series on September 6 and 7 in Horsham would feature a day and a half of racing before presentations.
