The Mountain Maids finished third on the ladder – four wins behind second-placed Noradjuha-Quantong and six wins behind minor premier Kalkee.
In the qualifying final the Mountain Maids lost by a single goal to the Bombers, forcing them into a cut-throat semi-final against Natimuk United.
They rebounded strongly to win the preliminary final by 11 goals against the Bombers, but standing in their way on Saturday is an even tougher opponent.
Kalkee has only one loss to its name in 2014, and has a winning record against Laharum.
They beat Laharum 8-3 in round one and were even better in a 28-9 win in round 10.
The Kees have been led by goal defence Mya Jones, who shared the league best and fairest award with Natimuk United’s Holly Smith.
Ella Motton and Tahlia Dufty also polled well for Kalkee, while midcourt player Hettie French garnered the most votes for Laharum.
