The lap of honour is a promotion run by Toyota in the lead-up to the AFL grand final and features retiring greats of the game.
Hayes announced his retirement from the AFL earlier this year and Koschitzke retired at the end of 2013.
Other retiring or recently retired players such as Jonathan Brown, Daniel Giansiracusa, Darren Jolly and Campbell Brown are also part of the program.
Hayes, Koschitzke and the premiership cup made an appearance at Stawell's Central Park.
Stawell Toyota general manager Debbie Hart said community members, including school groups and newly-crowned Horsham District Football Netball League premier Swifts, came to meet them.
"Swifts were well-behaved considering it was their Mad Monday," she said.
"They stood back because they knew there were kids there and the guys went over and spoke to them."
Mrs Hart said the school students had a great time meeting the St Kilda champions.
"The kids had a really good time and Lenny and Justin were fantastic," she said.
"We've had players before who haven't signed everyone's autograph but they made sure everyone got an autograph and they handed out lots of footballs to the kids."
