Judith Parker and Elizabeth Lee have several of their artworks hanging in the gallery.
Mrs Parker said she had dabbled in art for years, but had never totally devoted herself to it.
“I do a lot of drawing,” she said.
“I do tapestries. They’re abstract and in 2012 I won an abstract prize at the Lions Club in Horsham,” she said.
“I need to have some time where I can just totally immerse myself in something.
“I like atmosphere and lines in nature, and I use a whole range of mediums.”
Mrs Parker said she spent one day a week painting, and often did so with Ms Lee.
Ms Lee said her own artwork centred on the movement of women.
“I’ve got a series of three watercolour and graphite drawings depicting dancers,” she said.
“Muscles and movement are fascinating to me. I am interested in the way the female body moves.
“I work mainly in watercolour as I love the spontaneity of it.”
