The Demons will start as red-hot favourites going into the clash.
Zoe Heard’s side has lost just one game in 2014 and has beaten the Eagles by 40, 27 and 21 goals respectively in their three matches this season.
“The girls are all very excited,” Heard said.
“Two was good but three really sets us up to have that bit of an era – we want to show that we’ve been really strong.
“We know we’ll need to work hard and we’ll fight to the end – hopefully we’ll come out on top.”
Heard said the Demons would have to be wary of an Eagles side that has hit form at the back end of the season.
In their last encounter in round 15, the sides were level at half-time before the Demons pulled away.
“We need to make sure we forget about what happened during the year and take this as a whole new game,” Heard said.
“Finals wins give you a lot of momentum and they’ll be coming in with a lot of confidence.”
The Eagles upset Ararat in the preliminary final at the weekend, sneaking home by three goals after a superb final quarter.
Eagles co-coach Megan Werner said the win was a real confidence booster.
“Who would have thought we would play against Ararat and win?” she said.
“We’ve got such a new team – it’s a thrill for us to have come from where we are to this point.
“Horsham has a very talented team across the court and we need to make sure each player plays to the highest ability they can.
“We’re taking one step at a time like we did last time, and that paid off for us.”
The experience of Werner and Jane Richardson – who played in the Eagles’ back-to-back flags in 2010 and 2011- will be crucial.
Hatcher Medal winner Penny Fisher will look to continue her outstanding season in defence.
Heard said Fisher’s likely match-up with rising star Georgia Duncan would be intriguing.
“Georgia has a bit of height on Penny, but Penny is very good aerially,” she said.
“Penny likes to run off and get the intercepts so we need to keep an eye on that.”
Heard, joint runner-up in the Hatcher Medal, will also have a key role to play on Eagles goalie Werner.
“We usually have a good tussle – it’s always tough and I think we’ve had a few wins and few losses against each other over the years,” she said.
Four Demons – Heard, Duncan, Paige Lloyd and Steph Thomson – played in the side’s 2012 and 2013 premiership wins.
Werner said both she and fellow coach Claire Schulz were extremely proud their side reached the grand final.
“We feel we’ve grown as a team and really come together,” she said.
“We’re so excited to be in a grand final.
“We just need to go out there with a positive mindset – we need to believe we can keep going.
“Anything is possible.”
