The school’s annual talent show showcased a wealth of student flair for an end-of-term celebration.
Grade three student Claudia Lopez-O’Donnell won the show’s top prize for her performance of the song Rainbow Connection.
A team of year three students also got in on the act with their rendition of the Olympic bobsled movie Cool Runnings.
Friday’s grand finale was the culmination of a series of heats throughout the term, where students from grades three to six performed for their classmates.
Show organiser and grade five teacher Jason Weir said the West Factor was to showcase students’ abilities.
“It was to showcase some of the hidden talents children have, ones we might not have seen otherwise,” he said.
Mr Weir hosted the show as his character Gary the Gardening Guru, who encouraged students to look after the school.
“Seeing the children and teachers having light-hearted fun – it was a great way to finish off the term,” he said.
