Firefighters are trying to control the blaze at the Spotlight factory at Laverton North which broke out around 2pm on Tuesday.
UPDATE: Around 20 trucks are attending a large a fire, burning extremely close to a Laverton factory.

The Metropolitan Fire Brigade said Boundary Road in Laverton North would be affected and people are advised to avoid the area.
"There is currently no threat to the community, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions," the MFB said.
The fire was brought under control around 3pm.
