RIVERSIDE children explain why they do not want the Horsham bypass cutting through their area.
WE would not like a bypass at our mailboxes.
Here are some reasons why:
Most people down our road have horses and they can easily get scared even by a tiny plastic bag.
We always ride horses along the roads and the river at Riverside.
Next up, most people have a dog that could run down the road and out onto the bypass and get seriously injured and that would be very bad.
Making a bypass will affect our entire road because it has been quiet and non-busy for a very, very long time.
There are lots of kids that will be riding their bikes, taking a run, leading their dog and playing outside their own driveways.
There are lots of bus stops around Riverside and that means more kids to look out for when you are driving. Also a big bus comes past that bypass.
The people at Riverside don't want the bypass there. It will be too noisy and we like it nice and quiet. Also another reason is there will be too much traffic.
The river and birds will not like it and the peace will be gone.

PS We really hope you change your mind and move it out further away because it will affect our childhood and change our lives.
