Committee secretary Ross Cook said after five years of planning, the upgrades could go ahead due to money from two State Government grants.
"We will renovate and extend the pavilion, which is used by a number of organisations," he said.
"We wanted to make the space much more user-friendly."
Member for Mildura Peter Crisp announced the money at the Hopetoun Show on Sunday.
Mr Cook said the toilet and shower facilities would be upgraded, and there would be medical rooms added, along with a new viewing area at the netball courts.
"It's an important building in Hopetoun and it's widely used by the community," he said.
Mr Cook said he hoped the tender process for the renovations would be completed by the end of November, with construction underway by the end of the year.
The committee will receive $225,000 from the State Government's Regional Growth Fund and $73,000 from the Country Football and Netball Program.
The committee will also provide $50,000 in cash toward the project, and about $58,000 of in-kind labour and equipment.
The total cost of the project is $406,000.
