A mini field of pink paper women will be showcased outside the Horsham Rural City Council offices in Urquhart Street, Horsham, at 11am.
Horsham Mayor David Grimble will officially open the day and lead a minute of silence.
A luncheon and guest speaker Andrea Cross will follow at the Horsham RSL.
Mrs Cross will speak about her role as a volunteer in the community, in particular her work raising money and awareness to find a cure for cancer.
The event follows on from Breast Cancer Network Australia's Field of Women at the Melbourne Cricket Ground which the Horsham group attended in May.
Group co-ordinator Elaine Fuga-Hooper said the group was looking forward to the event.
"It's the highlight of the year," she said.
"We remember all the members who joined and came along, we remember those who fought the fight and lost and we remember those diagnosed with breast cancer."
She said this year's event would be particularly special as it marked 20 years since the group started.
"On October 14, 1994, the late Pat James, a breast cancer nursing sister, saw the need for a support group for women with breast cancer in the Wimmera," she said.
Mrs Fuga-Hooper said everyone was welcome at the event and to join the confidential support group.
"Women of the Wimmera, don't feel you're isolated - we are here to lend a helping hand," she said.
Horsham Friends Abreast meet on the first Friday of every month from 11.30am for lunch at the Volunteering Western Victoria meeting room on Firebrace Street, Horsham.
She said people could call 5382 4630 to RSVP to Monday's event.
