Horsham Rural City, Northern Grampians Shire, Pyrenees Shire, West Wimmera Shire in the northern, central east and central west areas, and Yarriambiack Shire will all be in fire danger period from 1am on November 3.
Country Fire Authority district 17 acting operations manager Trevor Ebbels said any burn-offs had to be completed and extinguished by the time the conditions came into place.
He said any burn-offs needed to be registered with VicFire and continuously monitored until they were extinguished.
Once the fire danger period comes into effect, anyone wanting to do a burn-offs will need written permission from their council.
Mr Ebbels warned anyone who breached the conditions on their burn-off permits could be prosecuted.
