A man has died after being crushed by a grain silo on a farm in the state's north-west.

Emergency services were called to a property in Boinka, west of Ouyen, on the Mallee Highway about 4.30pm.
It is believed the victim, 28, was loading grain into the silo in the early afternoon when it toppled over. He died at the scene.
Police are at the property and will be prepare a report for the coroner.
WorkCover is investigating.
The death brings the number of workplace fatalities in Victoria this year to 16.
