It has been a slow start for Colts, who have lost their first three games.
But a competitive performance – falling 11 runs short of victory – against early premiership fancy Lubeck-Murtoa will give the side belief it can topple the Tigers.
The Tigers started their season with a bang, accounting for Horsham Saints in a grand final rematch.
But it has been slim pickings for the Tigers during the past two weeks against Rup-Minyip and Lubeck-Murtoa.
All-rounder Brian Tucker was important for Colts early in the season, scoring 71 runs and picking up four wickets in two matches.
Liam Jakobi has five wickets in his past two matches, while top-order batsmen Nathan Koenig and Brad Millar will look to build on scores of 35 and 32 respectively.
For the Tigers, Dale Dridan has eight wickets – three more than any other player in the competition.
Reigning premier Horsham Saints will also look for their first win on Saturday.
But it will be a tough ask against Lubeck-Murtoa at Murtoa.
The Mudlarks are unbeaten and will fancy their chances of going 4-0.
The Saints’ line-up should be bolstered from the side which lost to Blackheath-Dimboola at the weekend, but will need to find a way to break through a deep Mudlarks batting order.
After two successive wins, Blackheath-Dimboola will be an outside chance of knocking off Rup-Minyip at Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
The unbeaten Blue Panthers have enjoyed three comfortable wins to start the season.
But the Bulls, who boast an in-form Lachie Watts, should be capable of launching a challenge.
Off-spinning all-rounder Watts has picked up five wickets in his past two matches and conceded less than two runs an over.
Blue Panthers skipper Matthew Downer has scored 59 and 47 not out in his past two hits and will look to continue his form at the top of the order.
In C Grade, undefeated teams Horsham Saints Black and Homers will play off for top spot on the ladder.
Both sides’ leaders have led the way in the first two weeks.
Saints Black skipper Kingsley Dalgleish has scored 47 not out and 28, while his Pigeons counterpart Darren McCann has played innings’ of 50 not out and 28.
Natimuk will also look to continue its perfect record in 2014-15 when it hosts reigning premier Jung Tigers at Natimuk.
Laharum will look for its first win when it visits Quantong, while Noradjuha-Toolondo will host Colts at Noradjuha.
Lubeck-Murtoa and Horsham Saints Red will face off at Taylors Lake.
