AN advice message for a fire at Langkoop has been downgraded.
Fire-fighters have contained the fire and there is no threat to communities.

AN advice message is in place for Langkoop after a fire started just after 4pm Friday.
A car started the fire on the Edenhope-Penola Road.
The fire is burning in a southerly direction.
It has potential to impact on the Meereek State Forest.
There is currently no threat to communities, but the authority has urged people to stay informed and monitor conditions.

THE Country Fire Authority has downgraded a watch and act message for a fire at Dadswells Bridge.
Fire-fighters have contained the fire, which is between 80 to 100 hectares in size.
The 14 crews on scene are mopping up the area and will be for some time.
Smoke might be visible from nearby communities and roads.
The Western Highway remains closed between Horsham and the Glenorchy turnoff.
Police are diverting traffic from the corner of McPherson and Baillie streets, Horsham, towards Murtoa.

A FIRE at Dadswells Bridge has jumped the Western Highway.
The fire started just before 2pm Friday.
The Country Fire Authority issued a watch and act for residents just after 2.30pm and advised them to leave the area.
The fire is moving towards Roses Gap Road.
The Western Highway is closed from Horsham to the Glenorchy turnoff.
Police are diverting traffic from the corner of McPherson and Baillie streets in Horsham towards Murtoa.
The CFA has urged people to take prescriptions and medication, photo ID, bottles of water, a mobile phone and charger with them if they leave, and consider what they will do with pets.
