Fire crews were called to the Nicholson Drive address just after 4pm on Friday and have brought the blaze under control.

The woman was in the house alone and unable to escape in time, Channel Nine reported.

Paramedics arrived at the scene but did not treat or transport anyone, an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said.

Fire investigators and police are at the scene to determine the cause of the blaze and whether there were any suspicious circumstances.
