Principal instructor Lynne Johns said the Horsham school performed two concerts.
‘‘We had an awesome day and everything ran smoothly,’’ she said.
This year’s concert theme was Toy Story.
‘‘We had our own storyline, which was great and well accepted by the audience,’’ she said.
‘‘There was a fabulous crowd at both concerts.’’
Ms Johns said all the students enjoyed the event.
‘‘They were well behaved and everything ran like clockwork,’’ she said.
Ms Johns thanked all the teachers and everyone who made costumes.
‘‘Everyone does a wonderful job,’’ she said.
‘‘Thanks to Emily Friedrichsen-Hay as well, who created our storyline and got all the characters organised.’’
Ms Johns said the students were now looking forward to Horsham’s annual Kannamaroo festival, which starts on Friday.
‘‘We will dance at Kannamaroo on Friday night in front of the ANZ bank,’’ she said.
‘‘Then we will retire until early next year.’’
Ms Johns said it had been a busy year for the dance school which had relocated to a new premises at Up Tempo cafe on Dimboola Road, Horsham.
She said the cafe was now open and parents were able to go there for a coffee and slice between the two concerts on Sunday.
