Over the past seven months I have been working hard as the Nationals candidate for the State Election on Saturday.
I have met thousands of people and travelled tens of thousands of kilometres to ensure that I have the best possible understanding of the people, communities and businesses of Lowan.
I have been inspired by people’s ideas to help build a better western Victoria.
I have heard great ideas for creating more regional jobs, from multi-million dollar business expansion to helping small business thrive and prosper.
Our agriculture sector’s ideas for development of innovative farming techniques will help improve agricultural productivity and profitability – the backbone of our economy.
And the passion and ideas people have for improving regional education, healthcare and social supports show how determined the people of Lowan are.
It is clear that we have a bright future right here in Lowan.
I have also had the privilege to work alongside and be mentored by Hugh Delahunty, a man who has been a true gentleman and leader of this great part of Victoria.
Thank you Hugh and your wonderful wife Judie for all you have contributed to Lowan over the years, and for always representing our region with dignity, integrity and respect for every constituent and issue.
This election, I am seeking your readers’ support to help them realise their aspirations and vision for western Victoria.
I believe in the opportunities here in Lowan, and believe that I have the proven ability and experience to deliver real results.
I have a true vision and supporting structure for the future growth of Lowan, backed up by the policies and investment of the Coalition Government.
Only the Coalition Government have announced investment in our regional schools, healthcare services, agricultural research, road, rail and tourism industries.
Only the Coalition Government will provide a $1billion Regional Growth Fund to support regional businesses and local government to develop growth opportunities and maintain great infrastructure and services here in Lowan.
Only the Coalition Government understands rural and regional Victoria, and has a proven track record of putting regional people first.
On Saturday, I am seeking your support to ensure that Lowan can achieve its full potential.
By working together with the great people of the Lowan electorate, harnessing their energy, enthusiasm and brilliant ideas, we can achieve truly great things.
Together, as a team, we can build a stronger region and a better future.
Emma Kealy, Nationals candidate for Lowan
