The Highwaymen need 223 for victory, after the Tigers compiled 9-222 from their allotted 65 overs at the weekend.
An innings of 59 from Ritchie Dodds and contributions from Shaun Smith, 36 runs, Ben Pollock, 32, and Luke Smith, 31, have given the Tigers the upper hand.
But the Highwaymen will be confident they can chase down the Tigers’ total.
Star all-rounder Nathan Alexander is yet to fail with the bat this season. Alexander has scores of 100, 126 and 52 from his three innings.
The likes of Josh Cramer and Todd Alexander have also made regular contributions for the Highwaymen.
Pollock was the pick of the Tigers’ bowlers when they overcame Kiata in round four, collecting three wickets.
Dodds, Smith and Dylan Webb have all been regular contributors with ball in hand for the Tigers this season and will look to help their side move further ahead at the top of the table.
Winiam will need to bowl well to defend 168 and taste victory for the second time this season at Jeparit.
Only Ben Marra, 47, and Brodie Cramer, 34, got going with the bat for the Wolves, as a number of Jeparit bowlers chipped in with wickets on the opening day.
Mick Preston looms as the danger man with the bat.
Preston scored an unbeaten 155 when the sides met in round four, which saw Jeparit’s first win.
The Wolves took just one wicket in that match and will look to Cramer, Brad Clark and Jordan Gurry to lead the way.
