Music and choir teacher Margaret Gork said the students enjoyed the experience.
"A lot of shoppers stopped to watch them sing," she said.
Mrs Gork said the choir performed a number of classic carols, including Away in a Manger, We Three Kings, The Little Drummer Boy and Jingle Bells.
She said it was the choir's last performance for 2014.
"The students perform a lot throughout the year and at Christmas they perform even more," she said.
"I think the students get a lot out of it and it helps with their skills.
"I think it also helps them get used to public performances and it helps them understand what other people go through when they are up on stage."
Mrs Gork said the choir was compulsory for students until the end of grade four, when it became optional.
"It has been a joy to teach them," she said.
"We learn a lot from each other and I get a buzz out of seeing them performing for others."
Horsham Plaza centre manager Allison Roberts said five choirs would perform in the centre in December.
"The choir from Holy Trinity Lutheran School was lovely," she said.
"We've also had a performance from a Warrnambool College choir, which is travelling across the Wimmera.
"It was a well-oiled machine, featuring trumpets, horns and a full drum kit."
