The competition’s first round will see Nhill host Dimboola, Horsham Saints host Minyip-Murtoa, Stawell host Horsham and Warrack Eagles host Ararat.

Western Vic Football general manager Stephen McQueen said all four round two home-and-away matches would be played on Anzac Day.

Two senior night matches will be played under lights on Anzac Day.

Minyip-Murtoa will host Nhill under lights at Murtoa Recreation Reserve, while Horsham will host Horsham Saints in a grand final rematch at Horsham City Oval.

It will be the second year the Saints and Demons play a night game against each other on Anzac Day.

Ararat will host rival Stawell and Warrack Eagles will host Dimboola in the other two Anzac Day matches.

‘‘All Anzac Day matches will be played on the Saturday, but no matches can start before 1pm,’’ Mr McQueen said.

‘‘The Warrack Eagles versus Dimboola and Ararat versus Stawell fixtures will be restructured so senior football will be played in the daylight hours and junior football will be played under lights.’’

Mr McQueen said the draw followed a similar structure to the 2014 season.

‘‘It’s similar, but with some differences because of requested matches during the season from clubs,’’ he said.

‘‘We have endeavoured to keep the draw as even as possible.’’

Mr McQueen confirmed the Wimmera Football League and Horsham District Football Netball League would host a senior football interleague double-header on May 23.

The 16th-ranked Wimmera league will host the 15th-ranked Bellarine District league, while Horsham District league, ranked 21st, will take on Central Highlands league, ranked 22nd.
