Police are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with an ambulance then fled the scene in Coburg on Saturday night.

A silver AU Falcon struck the ambulance in Sydney Road, near Gaffney Street, just before 9.30pm.
The driver of the Falcon then took off, heading north in Sydney Road towards Fawkner.
The paramedics, who weren't carrying patients, escaped injury but their ambulance was badly damaged.
Sergeant Dean Pickering, of the Fawkner Highway Patrol, described the act as despicable.
"It's really low for someone to do a hit and run at any time, but to hit an ambulance and leave the scene is despicable," he said.
"We believe the Falcon would have a lot of damage to the front end.
"If anyone sees a vehicle that fits this description, we'd really appreciate it if they contact police."
