The day was part of YMCA's national Open Doors Foundation event, which supports people with disabilities.
Committee member Tammy Van Duren said the event raised $1500 from donations collected on the day.
"We are still waiting on the final total, because more donations have come in online," she said.
"We are hoping we can reach our target and get a new water wheelchair."
The day included a water workout and a RPM class.
"Our efforts added up to a 14-hour water workout and cycling for 10 hours," Miss Van Duren said.
"The market was fantastic, we had lots of good feedback about it," she said.
"The place was full - we had heaps of people come through the door."
Horsham Special School students participated in the swimathon.
"About 10 of them swam and they had a great time," Miss Van Duren said.
"We were grateful for everyone who came and supported the day."
Miss Van Duren said people could keep donating to the centre.
"We still have a raffle going, which will be drawn on Tuesday," she said.
"Raffle tickets are available for sale at the centre.
"People can also keep donating online."
