Membership sub-committee chairwoman Elaine Breuer said the three-day event provided a perfect opportunity for networking with both golfers and non-golfers.
"I've been involved with the field days since it started, because my husband and I had a business in the town," she said.
"We were looking at ways to raise the club's profile and boost membership, so we decided to have a presence at the field days."
The club's new, modern function rooms were built following the Black Saturday fires.
Mrs Breuer said the club had a bistro with many food options and also hosted weddings, conferences, birthday parties and a range of other functions.
"There are plenty of options available," she said.
Mrs Breuer said the club's field days' site would feature a range of information, along with members to answer questions.
"We have a pro shop, so we're hoping to have the club's recently appointed professional Lisa Jean, plus a golf equipment and merchandise rep on site," she said.
Mrs Breuer said the club would also have information about its different membership packages.
"Membership numbers had dwindled after the fires, so we are looking to build on our membership," she said.
"We've been through some tough years with the fires and are working hard to get back on our feet.
"It is a good time to get out and promote the club, with the main golfing season about to start."
Mrs Breuer said the field days attracted people from across Victoria, NSW and South Australia.
"I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would be interested in playing at the club," she said.
"We have one of the top sand-belt golf courses in Australia."
Mrs Breuer said while it was good to promote the course to visitors, the club also hoped to attract interest from people living in smaller towns surrounding Horsham.
"We have summer memberships available, which will suit some people, including members of smaller clubs that shut down in summer," she said.
"We're also looking to get a junior program up and running in the near future, with Horsham Golf Club recently being accepted as a My Golf Centre."
Horsham Golf Club's site can be found in the Moore Exhibition Centre.
