The Roos moved to a 2-0 start after Saturday afternoon’s 90-point drubbing of the Warrack Eagles.
‘‘We’re just trying to get a bit of respect back,’’ Farr said.
‘‘There’s not been much positive to say about us this year and a lot of people have been tipping us for the wooden spoon.
‘‘We don’t think that’s near the mark.’’
The Roos comprehensively won every quarter on their way to the victory, which moves them into top position on the ladder.
Ashley Clugston stole the limelight from regular full forward Lachlie Exell, booting eight goals.
Exell managed four.
Farr said he was pleased his side was sharing the load.
‘‘We’ve obviously got a great full forward in Lachie Exell, but we don’t want to be one dimensional,’’ he said.
‘‘We want to be more unpredictable.’’
Farr said the Roos’ pressure all across the ground was the catalyst for the strong performance.
The Eagles were consistent throughout the afternoon but couldn’t match the Roos’ firepower.
They had eight individual goal-kickers, with Brett Boyle the only multiple goal-scorer, booting two.
They were well served in defeat by Ben Spicer, Jarred Martin and Riley Morrow.
The Eagles will face Stawell next week in a match that will leave the loser on the wrong end of a 0-3 start to the season.
