A paedophile jailed for more than 14 years in 2009 for sexually abusing four young girls - and whose convictions were later quashed - has again been found guilty after a retrial.

Peter James Rooks was originally ordered to serve a minimum of 10 years and six months, and had served more than 900 days before being bailed after a successful appeal in 2012.
A second jury in March this year found Rooks guilty of 13 offences, that included sexual penetration of a child, committing an indecent act with a child and indecent assault between 1986 and 1997.
The retrial did not involve the fourth girl. The victims' ages at the time of offending were between four years and under 10.
The County Court in Melbourne heard on Wednesday that Rooks, 52, who knew the mothers of his victims, "lectured" one girl about improving her school grades and the way she spoke to her mother before abusing her.
Judge Mark Gamble said Rooks then "forcefully" grabbed her by the hair, pulled her backwards onto a bed and was unable to move as he sexually assaulted her.
In his sentencing remarks, judge Gamble told Rooks he had "dressed up your disgusting behaviour" as a game and as a way of "sharing love for each other".
Judge Gamble said Rooks had "perversely linked (his) obscene conduct with love" and had taken advantage of the vulnerable girls to satisfy his "perverse sexual desires".
He said it was clear from the way the victims gave evidence of the long term effects of Rooks' offending, the "emotional scarring" and that it was "unlikely any of them would fully recover" from the enduring psychological effects.
Judge Gamble said by their verdicts the jury had rejected Rooks' denial of any wrongdoing to police and in evidence.
He did not regard the first sentence imposed by brother judge Mark Taft as manifestly inadequate and also concluded there was no justification for increasing that sentence.
Judge Gamble said a psychologist reported that Rooks' offending was opportunistic rather than predatory and he had "sounded a cautionary note" about the risk of reoffending.
In mitigation, Rooks could not rely on guilty pleas or remorse, but he had no prior or subsequent convictions and he had a stable family environment with the support of family and friends.
Judge Gamble also noted that Rooks would likely serve his sentence in protective custody.
He was jailed for 11 years and three months with a minimum term of eight years and three months, less 944 days already served.
He will be a registered serious sex offender for the mandatory period of life.
