Ebony, who loves gymnastics, used some of her favourite colours to design a blue leotard for American company Snowflake Designs.
The Design Your Dream Leotard contest was open to people world-wide.
Ebony’s design was in the top five selected for public vote.
The winning leotard will be produced for a limited run.
If Ebony wins, she will also have a leotard made just for her.
Ebony drew her design and her mother Anneika helped her fine-tune her creation using Photoshop.
Ebony’s design is called Aquarius.
Mrs Hart said her daughter drew from her strengths.
‘‘She’s always drawing,’’ Mrs Hart said. ‘‘She loves the water.’’
Mrs Hart said her daughter was excited to be in the running.
‘‘It just goes to show, if you follow your dreams they can come true,’’ she said.
Mrs Hart said people could vote for her daughter’s leotard by ‘liking’ the photo of the design on the Snowflake Designs Facebook or Instagram accounts.
