Country Fire Authority regional duty officer Ian Day said neighbours saw flames in the roof on the Hennessy Street home just after midnight and called emergency services.
Mr Day said three Horsham Fire Brigade trucks attended the scene.
He said crews controlled the fire in about 50 minutes.
He said no one was in the house at the time of the fire.
Mr Day said the house was left completely gutted by the blaze.
He said forensic fire investigators would work to determine the cause of the fire.
